DANCE PRACTITIONER – A volunteer role for dancer support on the production of Echoes of Oz (October 2015)ECHOES OF OZ – Dance Practitioner
In partnership with Phoenix Dance Theatre we are offering a volunteering opportunity to support the creation of the dance delivery of the choreographic work for the Bradford production of Echoes of Oz. Choreographer Sharon Watson (Artistic Director at Phoenix Dance Theatre) is looking for a volunteer or volunteers to support the delivery of mass choreography on the production taking place in Bradford on 9-11th October 2015. You will be supporting Sharon Watson and delivering dance workshops and rehearsals with community and schools groups in the Bradford area from mid-August to early October 2015.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a seasoned professional and support her in the delivery of outdoor art activities. It will enable the individual to have dance specific mentoring through this process as an assistant to the choreographer. This is great for someone who has been looking into different Hobbies for women/men so they can see which jumps out for them as they help the community with their projects. Volunteering is a positive way that can offer support to those who have a passion to find where they fit in.
